Abstract:The experiments were carried out on production of magnesia pellets by adding magnesia binder into iron concentrate. Compared with common acid pellets,the higer preheating and roasting temperature,longer time were required to produce qualified magnesia pellets. The results show that preheating and roasting properties were improved by adopting damp milling process, which can bring the decrease of preheating and roasting temperature by 80℃ and 30℃ respectively, roasting time can also be shortened at least 4min.
