Effect of High Oxygen Enrichment PCI on BF Iron-Making

Abstract:By analyzing the role of coke and the variety of process parameters when high oxygen enrichment PCI was adopted, under the proper condition of oxygen enrichment, PCI, blast temperature, charging system, the matching relationship between charging system and blast system, the following results can be achieved, such as improving the combustion rate of pulverized coal, maintaining high tuyere temperature, reducing bosh gas and enhancing productivity. When coke rate and coal rate is half to half in high oxygen enrichment PCI, quantity of coke can meet direct reduction and carburization requirement. Low reactivity and high abrasion resistance coke is necessary in order to play a skeletal role.
