Shape online control technique of steel strip in continuous annealing process

Abstract:In allusion to the issue that the evolution of strip shape can only be qualitatively analyzed and can’t be quantitatively predicted and controlled in continuous annealing process,firstly on the base of putting forward the conception of in-section strip shape and out-section strip shape,fully combined with mechanical and technological characters of continuous annealing process,a set of shape prediction model be suitable for continuous annealing process was built in this paper,and the evolution rule of in-section strip shape and out-section strip shape were quantitatively analysed in an example of the typical specifications product of a specific continuous annealing process. targeting the best whole shapes in section,the minimum in-section shapes and the minimum shape difference between unit exit and the goal,in condition of not occurring of buckling,deviation and vibration,according to the tension optimal setting,a set of comprehensive control technology be suitable for continuous annealing process was put forward,and promoted in production practical,which achieved good results and improved the strip conveying stability and the accuracy of exit shape control,good potential of popularization and application can be realized.
