Abstract:According to the theory of metallurgical process engineering,the meaning of interface between BF and BOF is elaborated. Types and characteristics of the interface mode between BF and BOF are also summarized in this article. The technical characteristics of “One Ladle Technology” and events during hot metal ladle turnaround process are analysed as well. It is pointed out that “One Ladle Technology” will be the development direction of the interface mode between BF and BOF. Finally,the application of “One Ladle Technology” in Shougang Jingtang Steel is analysed. Through optimizing the number of online hot metal ladle,the gap between actual practice and theoretical calculation is found out,which provides a theoretical support for the management of hot metal ladle turnaround.
