Optimization of key process parameters of sunk roll system of hot-dipped Al-Zn unit

Abstract:To resolve the problems such as scratches on the surface of hot-dip aluminized zinc strip steel, adhesion of massive zinc slag, accumulation of zinc slag on the roll surface of the submerged roll system and serious wear of the bearing bush, the two aspects of research were mainly carried out. Firstly, at the basis of the hot plating principle, the article combined with the equipment and structural characteristics of the hot plating process section. In the further, the formation mechanism of scratches and adhesion of zinc slag were analyzed on the surface of the hot-dip aluminized zinc strip steel. Meanwhile, the main factors, such as the jamming, slip and vibration of the submerged roll system, were determined which caused the formation of strip surface defects during operation in the hot-dip aluminized zinc unit. Secondly, based on the above and the analysis of the working principle of the scraper mechanical structure, the scraper force models of scraper mechanisms I and II were established. Including, the friction resistance moment generated by the scraper force was combined, in the further, the target function and constraint conditions of the scraper force and the scraper angle were established, and the optimization of the scraper force and the scraper angle was completed. Thirdly, according to the optimization results of scraper force, through the analysis of the force factors of the submerged roll system, there were three models were established, including the external load of the shaft end of the submerged roll system, the friction driving force of the strip steel and the viscous resistance in the submerged roll system. Besides the objective functions and constraints of tension, strip steel speed and strip ladle angle were established when the driving torque model of the submerged roll system was considered. Subsequently, the optimization of the operation process parameters of the submerged roll system was completed. Based on the above theoretical research, the optimization model was applied to the typical specifications of strip steel in a domestic hot-dip aluminum zinc plating unit, which effectively restrained the occurrence of stuck, slipping and vibration of the submerged roll system. The correction rate was also reduced that caused by the scratch on the strip steel surface and the adhesion of zinc slag.
