Experimental Study on Pressure Characteristic in Regenerative Reheating Furnace |

Abstract A cold state experimental device was built to study the operate and structure parameters affect the pressure characteristic in regenerative reheating furnace. Some conclusions are therefore drawn that operate and structure parameters are both the main influencing factors on the pressure characteristic in regenerative reheating furnace. Among the operate parameters, gas flux and outlet port suction and switch mode are the key factors on pressure characteristic. In case gas flux decreases or decentralizing switch tends to decrease pressure difference along furnace width and different outlet port suction can only change the whole pressure along furnace width. Among the structure parameters, the area ratio of burner inlet and furnace hearth, assistant fuel and furnace door area are the key factors on pressure characteristic. In case the area ratio of burner inlet and furnace hearth increases or assistant fuel area increases or furnace specific surface area increases tends to decrease pressure along furnace width.
