Abstract:Effective strokes of the stopper and the relational expression between the continuous caster and the opening distance of the stopper are derived by establishing geometric position relationship between the stopper and the submerged entry nozzle. The key correction factor of the relational expression between the continuous caster speed and the opening distance of the stopper is calculated based on pratical production data of steel mills. That a pre-feedback based on the variation of casting speed is added into the mould level control system can increase the accuracy of the dynamic feedback system, which is what this article provides theoretical basis for.
