Analysis of Cracking of 35CrNiMoV Continuous Casting Slab

Abstract:The cracking of 35CrNiMoV continuously cast slab was studied. Results show that the main reason is caused by improper cooling after casting. Some solutions, such as change the chemical composition and slow cooling under cover were given, and proved effective in practice.
