Abstract:Considering the specifics of FTSR(flexible thin slab rolling), the chemical composition and rolling technology of BG510L steel were designed. Comparing the products of FTSR and traditional rolling process,it was shown, that the microstructure of BG510L strip produced by FTSR is finer; the strength is lower and the elongation is higher. By optimizing the chemical composition and rolling technology, the strength of BG510L steel produced by FTSR have been increased obviously with high stability of mechanical properties.
