Abstract:In order to improve the operation of BF, both burden material benefication and operation were optimized. The new sintering and pelleting technology, optimized burden structure and new coking technology are used and hearth activity,gas stream distribution have been improved for smooth operation. By using this integrated technique, the productivity of blast furnace reached 2.0 t/(m3·d) at Baotou Steel in 2006 and the technique of intensified operation with Baiyunebo ores has been improving greatly.
