OffLine Analysis on Shape Influencing Factors of Hot Rolled Thin Strip

Abstract:A new offline analysis software based on online shape control model was developed. Quantitative analysis of strip shape was carried out using this software under different technical conditions at Tangshan Iron and Steel Co. The results show, that the influence of bending force at F4 and F5 on final crown is greater than that at F1 to F3. The influence of bending force is effected little by final thickness of strip. The influence of PC angle at different stands is almost the same, final crown decreases with the increase of PC angle and the bigger the PC angle the smaller the final crown is. The increase of rolling force at any one of F1 to F5 makes the final crown increase linearly, and the influence of rolling force at F4 and F5 is stronger than that at F1 to F3. For thin strip, rolling force change easily destroys the final strip shape.
