Abstract:A new corrosionwear resistant alloy for pumps used in hydrometallurgy of zinc and it’s heat treatment were studied.Microscope, Xrag diffraction, SEM and corrosionwear tests were used to investigate the microstructure and corrosionwear resistance and compare with that of CD4MCu and YL for impellers. The results showed that the σ phase of high hardness being pricked in matrix,could effectively prevent the matrix from erosion by solid particle and reduce the corrosionwear lost in hydrometallurgical process of zincy production.The new alloy strengthened by σ phase is the best in corrosionwear resistance among them.
