Abstract:Experimental research shows that better strength , especial elastic strength can be obtained by quenching at 1010~1070℃ for GTD-450 Blade Steel . It has narrow Tempering temperature range for GTD-450 Blade Steel to satisfy the specification , and has no significant effect on improving ductility by prolonging tempering temperature . Microalloy element V should be avoided adding ,although it improves the strength at elevated tempering temperature ,but reduces the ductility .
