Abstract:Sintering fundamental characteristics and sinter pot test of Pilbara Blend iron ore has been discussed. The results show that 20% of PBF has no adverse effect on sinter production .Moisture content must be increased to improve sinter production index if PBF ratio in sinter mix is more than 30%. The reliable laboratory and trial test results contribute the smooth transition of PBF in shougang’s sinter plant. And there is almost no influence on technical index.
