Abstract:Under the laboratory conditions, sinter pot tests with bed height enhanced from 600 mm to 700 mm has been carried out to obtain the optimized process parameters to produce sinter with high chemical composition stability,mechanical strength,uniform size distribution and high temperature metallurgical qualities. The hematite concentrate was provided by East Anshan Sintering Plant of AISC as the main raw materials. The relationships between sintering parameters and technical-economic index had been investigated so that theoretical basis to further enhance the sintering bed height could be provided.
