Research and Development of Advanced Boiler Steel Tubes and Pipes Used for 600 oC USC Power Plants in China
The authors of the paper summarized the investigation in laboratories, pilot trials and industrial implementation of P92, S30432 and S31042 boiler steel tube /pipes used for 600oC steam parameter fossil fired ultra super critical (USC) power plants in China in the past decade, with the emphasis on the technical breakthrough of the determination of chemistry optimization and the best fit heat treatment during production. The authors discussed the microstructure stability of the steel tube/pipes during long term service. The advancement of industrial production of P92, S30432 and S31042 steel tube/pipes and their expected application in China was also included in the present paper. The obtained results have shown that the steel and boiler makers of China have been able to successfully manufacture P92, S30432 and S31042 boiler steel tube/pipes used to build 600oC steam parameter USC power plants, and the supplying capability will be gradually achieved.

Reducing Fuel Ratio While Increasing Oxygen Enrichment To Enhance Blast Furnace Output
Based on the real performance data of No.3 Blast Furnace of Baosteel, the article presents analysis on the effect of reducing fuel ratio, increasing oxygen enrichment on the intensified operation of the blast furnace. The analysis indicates that reducing fuel ratio while increasing oxygen enrichment, thus decreasing the specific bosh gas volume is decisive to the intensified operation of the blast furnace within the allowable bosh gas volume limits. The real performance data are provided in nomograph so as to facilitate evaluation of the performance of the blast furnace.

Study on Intelligent Monitoring of No.2 Blast Furnace Stave Hot Surface Status of Nanjing Iron & Steel United Co. LTD
According to the actual situation of no.2 blast furnace in Nanjing Iron & Steel United Co.LTD , the thermal analysis and intelligent monitor of new type cast copper stave located in the under-part of the stack, furnace belly and bosh are carried out. With the help of the measuring point temperature of cooling stave body and its rib, simultaneously, artificial neural network is introduced into the numerical simulation of blast furnace. The simulation software which has the define intelligence to acknowledge and simulate the characteristics of the actual object makes the prediction to the maximum temperature and slag thickness of Cooling stave hot surface come true by the combination of the heat transfer analysis and artificial neural network. Consequently, the blast furnace shape and trend are clear at a glance for the BF operators.

Investigation on Nonmetallic Inclusions of LCAK Steel in LF Secondary Refining
Investigation was made on non-metallic inclusions in LCAK liquid steel during LF secondary refining for thin slab casting. It was found that, in the refining when high basicity and reductive slag was used, transfer of inclusions of Al2O3 in liquid steel took place first to inclusions of MgO-Al2O3 system and then to inclusions of CaO-MgO-Al2O3 and CaO-CaS-Al2O3 system. At the end of refining, there had almost no Al2O3 inclusions in liquid steel. So, the amount of calcium used for modifying Al2O3 inclusions in later Ca treatment to ensure the castability of the steel could be reduced.

Heat Transfer Research of Nucleation in Liquid Metal Excited by Vibration
Through the experiment indicated that, under the condition of air cooling ,we can't get large number of fine crystallittes on the surface of the vibrating and cooling bar;and under the condition of water cooling the vibrating and cooling bar would create solidified shell because the subcooling between the vibrating and conling bar and the liquid of steel. Under the condition of aerosol cooling by heat transfer,we can get 26℃ subcooling under the aerosol cooling conditions of gas flow in 65 m3/h, water quantity of humidifying 3kg/h,large number of fine crystallittes are formed on the surface of the vibrating and cooling bar.the crystallittes are ejected to molten continuously and serves as nucleus of equiaxed grain uring solidification,and promote slab solidification uniformity.

Study on Inclusions and phase analysis of BOF Produced 20CrMnTi Gear Steel
This paper deals with the inclusions׳ kinds、compositions、quantities and forms of BOF produced 20CrMnTi gear steel. The results showed that the inclusions of the steel included oxides(main is Al2O3)、α-MnS、(Ti0.952Cr0.047)(C0.551N0.501)、Ti2CS and AlN etc.;If [T.O] & [S] can be controlled lower, the total quantity of inclusions could be reach lower level.

Study on the effect of stacking slow-cooling before rolling on the center-segregation of continuous casting slab
The effect of stacking slow-cooling before rolling on the center-segregation of continuous casting slab was investigated in this paper. By the macroscopic sulphur print test over the cross section of testing slabs as well as analyzing the chemical compositions of the samples along the thickness direction and obversing the cross section structure of rolled plate it is found out that the effect of stacking slow-cooling before rolling on the center carbon segregation in the slab and the band structure in the rolled plate is obvious. The grade of center-segregation in the casting slab after 48 hours stacking slow-cooling decreased from C2.0 to C1.5; the band structure on the cross section of the plate rolled from the casting slab after 36 hours stacking slow-cooling is obviously slighter than that in the casting slab after 24 hours stacking slow-cooling and there is no significant pearlite band structure throughout the view field.

Control and study nitrogen concentration in steelmaking process
In order to control the nitrogen in the steel and improve the inherent quality of the products, on the basis of technological research in the process of BOF-LF-CC, the influcing factors and controlling technology of the nitrogen concentration in the liquid steel. In order to meet the needs of steel quality for decreasing nitrogen , the following measures were taken : an optimal changing - over time of nitrogen and argon was kept at about 11 minutes, avoiding reblowing time,replacing tap hole; avoiding steel being exposed to the atmosphere in LF furnace, and the operation of large amount slag embedding ;adopting protected pouring process.

New Technology In The Design Of Roll-Shaped Curve For Regular Four-High Cold Rolling Mill
To comnter the problem of complex wave, roller end forced-contract in the process of regular four-high cold rolling mill, After a number of field experiments and theoretical studies ,and considers fully the equipment and the technical characteristics of four-high cold rolling mill, also covers the production needs of a variety of specifications ,sucn as hardness, thickness, width and so on. With the objective of the most evenly to the lateral distribution of forward pull, taking into account the governance issues by pressure of different materials , And even distribution of pressure rollers as a constraint condition, a new scheme to the combination roller design is put forward.The edge wave is removed by the cosine subitem of work roll-shaped curve and the higher degree curve subitem of the edge of backup roll. forced-contract is removed by high-order part of the curve of work roll . The center wave is lessened by the subitem of the concave cosine curve. By optimizing characteristic parameter of the roll-shaped curve ,it can be suitable for the different shape of strip situation. In that case,either complex wave or a single wave-shaped can be abated. In addition, it can alleviate the roll end forced-contract producing in the rolling process.And thus the shape quality of strip will be kept in a stable situation and the wear extent of roller will be reduced. The new scheme is worth further popularizing because of the enormous economic benefits that have been gained.

Development and Analyzing of HSS work roll of MaSteel CSP
Based on the strip quality problem which is seriously affected by the uneven wear of work rolls, this paper analyzes the the work rolls’ uneven wear of F3 and F4 stand, and points out the necessity of using high speed steel rolls. A lot of tests and reaserch have been carried out on the use of high speed steel rolls, while the roll force, roll temperature and oxide film have been analyzed according to the actual data. The process of using high speed steel rolls has been formulated on the basis of a large number of field tests in MaSteel CSP, and it achieves long-term stability of using process conditions. Through the effects of using high speed steel rolls, it has greatly improved the work rolls’ uneven wear and the strip quality.

Design and Application of Optimized Shape Roll Technology for Finish Stands of 1780 Hot Strip Mill
According to the “roll shifting+roll shape+ roll bending” technology and device characteristics of Ningbo steel 1780 hot strip mill, both shape control quality and mill roll life-span were prior conditions, the shape roll patent VCSW of Lian Jiachuang professor in Yanshan University was adopted as the working rolls, The straight barrel + edge curve were adopted as the backup rolls. Roll shape parameters of every working rolls and backup rolls were specified through the optimization design calculation of the typical productions. In order to make the designed shape roll fit for all productions, and make the roll milling and management convenient, weighted handling was processed to roll shape parameters. The same roll shape parameters were used to the F1~F7 backup rolls, the other two sets of the roll shape parameters were used to the F1~F4 working rolls and F5~F7 working rolls, respectively. With shape control system designed by Yanshan University, The practice showed that the strip crown was controlled between 30um and 60um, the strip flatness was good, the percentage of hits is more than 96%.

Effects of Hot Deformation on γ→α Isothermal Transformation for High Niobium Low Carbon Steel
Using thermal simulation tester,austenite to ferrite isothermal transformation for a low carbon high niobium steel with and without hot deformation was investigated.It was obtained that curves of austenite to ferrite isothermal transformation at 700℃ for the tested steel in un-deformation, deformation 20% and 30% at 875℃,respectively. Influence of hot deformation and niobium on was discussed. The results show that the ferrite transformation is accelerated by hot deformation,because incubation period of the transformation is shortened by hot deformation,and the kinetics of austenite to ferrite isothermal transformation for high niobium steel is two stage that is ferrite transformation rate is lower in the first period and is higher in the second.

Corrosion Behavior of 10NiCrMo Steel with
The corrosion behavior of 10Ni5CrMoV steel was studied under 3.5%NaCl and artifical salt-water with immersion and cyclic immersion test by chemical and electrochemical corrosion test methods. The result of the study shows that:The free corrosion potential of 10NiCrMoV steel is more lower in artifical salt-water (-0.690V)than 3.5%NaCl solution(-0.661V),The corrosion behavior of 10NiCrMo steel can be effected mainly by oxygen diffusion control mechanism among laboratory simulate ocean circumstance corrosion test for three months. Because the character of the rust is different, the corrosion rate of 10NiCrMo steel under 3.5%NaCl and artifical salt-water with immersion and cyclic immersion test decreases in the final stage with time passing and then tends to be stable after 1500h . The rate of corrosion in artifical salt-water with immersion and cyclic immersion and in 3.5%NaCl solution with immersion and cyclic immersion are 0.338~0.459mm/a and 0.279~0.435mm/a and 1.200~1.141mm/a and 0.840~0.404mm/a respectively.The corrosion rate of 10NiCrMo steel is more lower in artifical salt-water with immersion and cyclic immersion test than 3.5%NaCl solution;The corrosion rate of 10NiCrMo steel is more lower in artifical salt-water and 3.5%NaCl solution with cyclic immersion test than with immersion test.

study on oxidation resistant of new austenite stainless steel
The high-temperature oxidation resistance of new austenitic stainless steel NH4 in air over the temperature range of 700℃~1000℃ was studied by using the way of gain weight. The surface morphology、constituent and micro-structure of the oxidation scale was analyzed by using XRD、SEM and EDX techniques. Experimental result indicated that the average oxidation speed of NH4 were 0.064 g/(m2 h)(700℃),0.083 g/(m2 h)(900℃)and0.2786 g/(m2 h)(1000℃).The compositions of oxide included outer Cr2O3 film and inner SiO2 film at 700℃ and 900℃. While at 1000℃ the oxide layer was a mixture of Cr2O3、SiO2 and Al2O3. At high temperature SiO2 layer was formed before Cr2O3 layer, and SiO2 layer was in favor of the formation of Cr2O3 layer.

Macro-morphology, thick, micro-chemical composition, structure and the mass percent content of O / Fe of the surface iron oxide skin of automotive beam steel were investigated by samples collected in factory. We analyzed the cause the surface iron oxide skin of automobile beam steel, and also proposed a solution. Large quantities of industrial production and feedbacks of users explain that products with smooth surface and excellent stamping performance can fully fully satisfy the application requirements of automotive longitudinal beam and beam.

Equilibrium Solubility of Ti in ferrite
According to the equilibrium solubility formulae of Fe2Ti in ferrite deduced by Thermo-Calc and concerned references and the formation energy of Fe2Ti, the equilibrium solubility formulae of titanium in ferrite have been derived as log[Ti]α=1.632+2293/T (850 ~ 1100K) and log[Ti]α=0.2477+3401/T (300 ~ 800K) respectively. These findings would be important in researching the solubility product of carbide, nitride and/or carbonitide of titanium in iron matrix and related solution/precipitation behavior.

The Impact of Rare-earth Dopants on the Photocatalytic Properties of Titanium-Baring Blast Furance Slag
Titanium-Baring Blast Furance Slag(TBBFS), as a photocatalyst material, its quantum efficiency and utilization of solar energy are very low. Because of the special electronic structure, the rare earth elements are of good semiconductor properties in the formation of oxides. And to some extent, the mixture of the metal oxide-doped can improve the light catalytic properties of the Titanium-Baring Blast Furance Slag. In this study, Titanium-Baring Blast Furance Slag that is mixed with rare earth oxide is used in Degradation experiment of the methylene blue solution under the condition of the Ultraviolet radiation and many Analytical methods such as ray diffraction experiments (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM)are used to find out the Optimum amount of rare earth doped. The results show that when the dopings of the rare earth element CeO2, Y2O3 are respectively 0.5%,1.0%, their degradation rates of methylene blue will respectively get to 72.2%,74.0%, which are the optimal doping.
