Application of Calcium Treatment process in JIgang Medium and Thin slab Caster
This paper mainly analyzed the effect of calcium treatment on Casting Properties of continuously Cast Molten Steel according to operating practice for Medium and Thin slab of No.3 Steelmaking Plant of Jinan Iron and Steel Group Co. ,proper calcium content should be added into Molten Steel can improve casting properties.

Study on hot ductility of SAPH440 steel
Hot ductility of SAPH440 steel contained Ti cc slabs, produced by PAN STEEL, was measured with Gleeble 1500 hot tensile machine in temperature range of 1400~600℃. The fracture appearance and microstructure were examined. The first zone of low ductility was found in the range of TL~1350℃,the third zone of low ductility was found in the range of 950~725℃. The two main causes for the low ductility are the precipitation of A1N and formation of network-shape ferrite at grain boundaries. Enhancing the temperature over 950℃ during bending and straightening is beneficial to reduce the surface cracks.

Analysis of Crystallizer with different seam and simulation of its temperature field
Introduction and analysis of continuous casting crystallizer that can be used in several of the characteristics of the water seam; Based on certain assumptions to simplify means to mold a reasonable model, Analysised two water-seam temperature distribution characteristics by ANSYS. Provide a certain amount of data and theoretical basis for the designing of water seam and the means to monitor temperature field.

Influence of Slide Gate on Metal Flow and Inclusion Removal in Continuous Casting of Slab
A numerical simulation was carried out to study the flow field and the removal of inclusions in slab continuous casting under the condition that the slide gate opened along the direction vertical the wide face of the mold. the work result showed that when the slide gate opened partially, the molten steel flow in the nozzle presented a high excursion, a circumfluence was formed under the slide gate, and a single sided percussion flow took shape in the bottom of the nozzle, and the molten steel flow was rotary at the outport of the nozzle. The removal of inclusions increased with the augmentation of particle diameter, when the diameter was 0.5 millimeter, all inclusions could be removed out. The removal of inclusions increased obviously when the slide gate partially opened.

Mathematical simulation of Grade Change Process During the Continuous Casting of Steel
Based on the study of the fluid flow and mixing phenomena in the reactors of continuous casting process, a model for determining location and the length of the exactly mixed region has been developed. According to the simulation results, there are several factors affecting the location and the length of intermixing slab.

Design & application of steel 45# about dynamic soft reduction model parameters for No.2 Bloom-caster of PanSteel
This article introduced the basic design ideas of steel 45# about dynamic soft reduction model parameters for No.2 Bloom-caster of Pansteel as well as the selection of the related model parameters. Steel 45# production practice shows that after the implementation of dynamic soft reduction, central porosity ratio≤0.5 increased from 88.48% to 100%, central bloom without shrinkage ratio increased from 79.72% to 98.74%, central segregation index of carbon improved from 0.88~1.11 to 0.92~1.06, the internal quality of steel 45# improved significantly.

Research on the optimization of FC-mould technical parameter for IF steel
On the precondition of the steady slab dimension and the SEN mode,It is considered of the influence about the stopper red argon flow rate、casting speed、SEN immerging depth on the mould fiow field,According to the IF steel production,Three type of testing project of the different technical parameter of FC-mould is established, and try on ,Analyzing the non metallic inclusions of IF sheet, The optimal technical parameter of FC-mould of IF steel was fish out:the slab dimension is 230×1400mm2 , casting speed is 1.35~1.40m/min,the up coil working current of FC mould is +240A; the down coil working current of FC mould is -274A.

Study and Application on synchronous control of Slab continuous casting machine hydraulic devices
This paper proposed a slab continuous casting production for synchronous vibration control strategy. The hydraulic system of the same closed-loop control mode that has the characteristics of high accuracy;PID automatic control of complex adaptive algorithm can adapt well to non-linear objects。And in the slab continuous casting machine JISCO applied. Theory and Practice shows that reasonable choice of control strategy, stable and reliable of system operation.

Analyse and Measures of Surface longitudinal cracks of Steel Sheet in CSP production
Surface longitudinal crack were studied and analized for SS400 steel sheet which occurred during CSP manufacture in this paper.The results demonstrated that most of the longitudinal cracks were distributed of 1/4 areas along the width direction of the steel sheet as parallel beam or reticulate form.The length and the depth of the cracks were 0.5-2mm and 0.1-0.2mm and the width was less than 1mm.Complex inclusions which composed of Na、Mg、Al、Si、Cl、K、Ca ets were found along the trench of the cracks, while only ferric oxide was found inside the cracks.Further analysis showed that such surface cracks originally formed in the successive mouldand further enlarged by the following secondary cooling and furnace heating. By controlling of the mould heat transfer and adjusting of secondary water cooling, longitudinal crack of steel sheet was controlled.

Steel Plate Slim Crack Control and Discuss
Recent years, with the increasing of production ratio for high grade steel, too much tiny crack appears at the margin of the steel plate surface with high alloy content such as Nb, V and Al elements. The author have summarized the related experience and think the most important measures are slab cold delivers, strengthen the caster machine management, enhance the nitrogen control level, improve the steel pureness and take the appropriate second cooling curve.
