Abstract:The thermodynamics and practical methods of simultaneoue reducing [Al]s and [O] of ultra low oxygen steel were studied. The results were compared with that published in literature. It was shown that T[O] and [Al]s contents in present study are lower and stable. In the aspect of thermodynamics,aAl2O3 is far lower than 1,that means producing low melting point, easy to remove, composite inclusions, is the key of simultaneous reducing [Al]s and [O] of steel.
