Abstract:Based on the actuality that most of speed-setting depending on the experiences of operator on plate mill interiorly, a optimum mathematic model with double objects for ensuring finished temperature mainly and improving efficiency secondarily has been established, according to the eliminative and replaceable relations between rolling and interim time. The critical values for bite-speed, stable-speed and throw-speed are analysed, then these values can used to construct the constraint conditions for objective function.The result of on-line application indicated that this model has good security, and the average total time for every plate has been decreased for 5.72 seconds in allowable finished temperature, which has utility value.
