Casting Powder of Medium Carbon Steel Containing Borbon Hot!
Aimed at the problem of corner crack of medium carbon steel containing boron, by analyzing the boron content in concretion fluid slag blanket of casting powder, it was found that, when the boron content in steel is 0.0013%, the percentage composition of B2O3 in slag is 0.74%, and the viscosity of original slag specimen and fluid slag specimen is 0.122Pa·s and 0.12Pa·s (1300℃), respectively. The content of borbon in steel has little influence on the performance of casting powder, and it is needless to design special casting powder for boron steel. The performance of original medium carbon casting powder has been optimized: R increases from 1.23 to 1.27, viscosity decreases from 0.165 Pa·s to 0.123Pa·s (1300℃), melting speed increases from 22kg/h to 27kg/h, fusion point increases from 1085℃ to 1155℃, and the corner crack of casting blank is obviously well controlled.

Heat Treatment Process of Q460C
As a result of the instability of smelting and rolling process, the mechanical properties of Q460C often appear to be instable. The effects of different heat treatment processes on the mechanical properties of Q460C steel were investigated. The results show that the strength decreases remarkably after normalizing. The strength and toughness are improved after normalizing and controlled cooling.

Effect of Methane Concentration on Twins in CVD Polycrystalline Diamond Film
The surface morphology, texture and grain boundary distribution of CVD free-standing diamond film were investigated by scanning electron microscopy (SEM), X-ray diffraction (XRD) and electron backscatter diffraction (EBSD). It is shown that the preparation atmosphere with lower purity induced a number of twins in diamond film, the frequency of twins increased with the raise of methane concentration, which brought an increased effect on the texture. {100} texture was turned to {122} texture by the high frequency twins, but {511} and {411} textures were not found, indicating that the changed twin orientations were selective to some extent.

H2S Corrosion Resistance Performance of Longitudinal Submerged Arc Welded (LSAW) Pipe Hot!
Through physical and chemical properties measurement, hydrogen induced cracking test, sulfide stress cracking test and tube process, hydrogen sulfide corrosion resistance of X65 grade LSAW pipe used in oil and gas transport was investigated. Results show that reasonable requirements of pipeline material resistance to H2S corrosion should be put forward based on steel chemical composition, mechanical properties, grain size, non-metallic inclusion and banded structure. At the same time, proper welding materials should be matched, such as the low residual stress of UOE tube technology to control the resistance to H2S.

Short Stroke Control for Rough Rolling on Hot Strip Mill of Stainless Steel Hot!
To the problem of width excess of stainless steel on hot strip mill, short stroke control (SSC) on rough rolling mill was used to improve the width control curve of strip head and tail ends. Based on the principle of SSC, the model of three-segment polyline and two-stage parabolic were separately used. In addition, self-learning method of SSC which is based on the width deviation of head and tail ends was applied. The results prove that the control accuracy of head and tail ends of middle slab can be improved by using this model of SSC on rough rolling mill, so the rolling yield can be improved.

Effect of Solution Process on Intergranular Corrssion of 0Cr18Ni10Ti
The effect of solution process on intergranular corrosion of 0Cr18Ni10Ti austenite stainless steel was studied based on GB 4334—2008, 10% oxalic acid etching testing method for stainless steel. The results show that the anti-corrossion property of 0Cr18Ni10Ti becomes worse with increasing solution temperature, and intergranular corrosion is inclined to be worse with longer holding time. When solution temperature between 1010~1050℃, the grains are tiny without obvious carbide precipitation and corrosion line at grain boundary, as well as better intergranular property and mechemical property.

Measurement of Ballistic Constant by Induction Method in Direct Durrent Magnetic Measuring
According to the principle of ballistic method in direct current magnetic measurement, the ballistic constant Cα should be accurately calibrated before measuring magnetic induction intensity B. There are many factors which influence the exact measurement of Cα. Cα is obtained by orthogonal test method and the Cα is calibrated using a standard sample. Finally, the high precise measurement of saturation induction density Bs is obtained.

Analysis on Cracking in Forged Bar of Die Steel 4Cr5MoSiV1
The cracks were found on the edges of transverse sample of 130mm 4Cr5MoSiV1 forged steel bar. Through inspection and analysis, following causes were found: 1) The cracks are caused by uncut pipes; 2) Shrinkage cavity also might appear along edges of the steel bar. The shrinkage cavitys are far away from the center. This is resulted from the temperature differences on the top and bottom surface of the steel bar during heating, and inaccurate riser cutting and nonuniform deformation during forging.

Production Process of DC01 Strip and Analysis on Its Unqualified Elongation Rate After Fracture
It was found that the elongation rate after fracture of DC01 strip was unqualified. The production process of the DC01 cold rolling strip was introduced. The defective samples were analyzed by analyzing chemical composition, inclusion and microstructure. The results showed that the main reason of failure was that too much cementite existed in the microstructure and distributed as catenulate and aggregtated. The inclusion in the steel also caused unqualified elongation rate after fracture. Some improvement measures were proposed.

Causes and Improvement of Stamping Earing of SPHC Hot Rolling Pickling Sheet
Earing defect appeared when an SPHC pickling sheet was pressed, which influenced product yield. Through research and analysis of factors causing earing defect, and metallographic examination, chemical composition analysis, mechanical property test, thickness measurement, it was indicated that the main reasons causing earing defect are mischcrystal structure especially at strip edge, thickness design and control and the use of mould. Production practice showed that effective actions as making reasonable hot rolling process system ,promoting composition design ,taking thickness negative tolerance design and using reasonable parameter of the mould should be performed to reduce the rate of earing defect.

Cause of Layered Fracture of Weathering Steel Q450NQR1 During Tensile Test
The inclusion and microstructure in tensile stratified sample of weathering steel Q450NQR1 were studied by means of sulfur print test, metallographic examination, scanning electron microscopy and energy dispersive spectrum analysis to explore the cause of lamination in tensile specimen. The results show that higher segregation of S and Mn exist center of weathering steel Q450NQR1 slab. Nb, Ti and Cr contents are higher in the segregation band than other positions. Serious center segregation favors the appearance of pearlite banded structure, and banded MnS inclusion appears to crack easily in the tensile stress, thus causing the stratification.

Formation Cause Analysis of Bulge Defect on Inner Wall of 37Mn5 Tube
In order to analyze the defect formed on the inner surface of 37Mn5 alloy tube through rolling, the metallographic microscopy, scanning electron microscopy and energy spectrum analysis were used. The results showed that some large size composite strip inclusions existed in the tube matrix, which broke the metal matrix continuity, and caused the sandwich forming on the wall. The small sandwiches wrinkled and peeled off metal matrix to form bulges, caused by the frictional force and milling force in tube-piercing process. Therefore, enhancing the molten steel purity is the key method to decrease or eliminate the defect.

Fracture Analysis of Firing Pin
During empty gun firing experiment of shotgun produced by a company, fracture of some firing pins occurred. Chemical analysis, metallography, scanning electron microscopy and other methods were carried out to analyze the reasons for the formation of fracture. The experimental results show that the fracture mechanism of firing pins is fatigue fracture, chemical composition and microstructure of firing pin are normal. But the surface decarburization of firing pin led firing pin surface weakened, making surface hardness and strength of firing pin significantly lower than the base, accelerating the formation of fatigue source. The firing pins withstand greater alternating stress, which accelerated fatigue source extensions. Comprehensive analysis indicated that the firing pin breakage is due to the carbon layer which causes early fatigue fracture.
