Abstract:The effect of cold rolling reduction rate on magnetic properties and texture of thin nonoriented electrical steel sheets were researched. The results showed that thin nonoriented electrical steel sheets with better magnetic properties could be produced with 55% reduction rate of secondary cold rolling. The portion of unfavorable γtexture components, especially {111}<112> and {111}<110> was increased when the rate of secondary cold rolling reduction was higher than 55%.The thin nonoriented electrical steel sheets manufactured with a rate of secondary cold rolling reduction of 55% had more {100} and Goss texture, and of which P1.0/400 could be reduced to 10.6 W/kg and B50 could reach to 1.68 T.
