Influences of Ti、Nb on Recrystallization Texture of Cold Rolled Plates of Cr18 Stainless Steel with Ultra-low Carbon and Nitrogen
Abstract:The influence of Ti、Nb on recrystallization texture of the cold rolled plates of Cr18 stainless steel with ultra-low carbon and nitrogen were studied. The results show that the density of the {111} texture distribution of the Nb-stabilized and Ti、Nb double stabilized cold rolled plate increase with extending of the annealing time under 850 ℃,but the density of {111} texture of only Ti-stabilized cold rolled plates are already to maximum with 2 minutes holding time, then the density of the {111} texture distribution will decline. The density of the Ti、Nb double stabilized cold rolled plate’s {111}<110> orientation distribution get to the largest with an annealing time of 360s.The recrystallization texture {111} orientation distribution of Nb-stabilized Cr18 stainless steel cold rolled plate is less than the others.

The Industrial Trial of Dual Phase Steel in Continuous Casting and Continuous Rolling with Low Coiling Temperature
Microalloyed Nb、Ti precipitation retards recrystallization and anstenite pancaking make transformation faster. Through continuous cooling and low temperature coiling, high strength dual phase steel has been gotten in thin slab continuous casting and rolling line. Industrial trials were carried out on FTSR hot mill in Benxi Iron and Steel Corp. The mechanical properties of tested steels were measured. When the finishing rolling temperature is 800~820℃ and fast cooling to the coiling temperature below 300℃,it could be gotten that the yield strength of tested steel more than 400MPa ,tensile strength more than 650MPa and YR below 0.70.The ductility of tested steels is good and the elongation more than 20%.

Effect of annealing temperature on texture and grain boundary character distribution of Nb+Ti stabilized ferritic stainless steel
The effect of annealing temperature on texture and grain boundary character distribution of Nb+Ti stabilized ferritic stainless steel was investigated using Electron Back-scattered Diffraction (EBSD). The results indicate that the amounts of α texture and low angle grain boundary (LAGB) decreased but γ texture, coincidence-site-lattice (CSL) boundary and high angle grain boundary (HAGB) increased with the increasing of annealing temperature. When the annealing temperature was 920℃, the α texture disappeared and the principal texture was γ texture. When the annealing temperature was 950℃, the number percentage of LAGB, HAGB and CSL was not changed. A possible formation mechanism of recrystallization texture was that the formation of γ texture in ferritic stainless steel attributed to the combined effect of “orientated nucleation” and “selective growth”.

Investigation on Hot Deformation Behavior of Secondary Hardening Ultra-high Strength Steel
The hot compression deformation behaviors of secondary hardening ultra-high strength AF1410 steel with high strength and toughness has been investigated by use of Gleeble-3500 simulator at the temperature rang of 1123K to 1423K and at the strain rate of 0.5~10s-1. The corresponding flow curves have been determined and hot deformed microstructures were observed. The results show that the flow stress and peak strain increase with increasing strain rate or decreasing deformation temperature. At true strain 0.8 and the strain rate of 0.5~10s-1, the temperature of full dynamic recrystallization increase with the strain rate rising. When the strain rate is 10s-1 the deformation temperature is beyond 1373K full dynamic recrystallization occurred. The hot deformation activation energy Q of AF1410 steel is 430.39kJ/mol and the hot deformation equation is derived based on the experiments.

Comparison of the Microstructure and Mechanical Properties of X70 Pipeline Steel Produced by Hot Tandem Mill and Reversing Mill
The industrial contrast experiment of X70 pipeline steel produced by hot tandem mill and reversing mill was carried out in a domestic certain iron and steel corporation. The results indicate that the pipeline steel produced by hot tandem mill possesses higher yield strength, finer microstructure and better DWTT property, and that produced by reversing mill possesses higher tensile strength and low yield-strength ratio. It can be concluded that the interval in pass during finish rolling is an important reason to affect the mechanical properties of X70 pipeline steel.

The Analysis of SA-335 P22 High Pressure Boiler Tube Defect and Its Improving Measure
A lot of external cracks appear after piercing of SA-335P22 high pressure boiler tube bloom, they looks special and distribute randomly. Optical and digital microscope analysis of cracks, acid leaching test of bloom and acid leaching sample test, indicate that the defect caused by bloom’s internal fine cracks. Measures of lowering the liquid steel superheat, decreasing the casting speed of bloom and reduction billet’s secondary cooling strength are obviously effective to reduce such kinds of defects.

The research on the material flowing behavior of head and end of the slab and the end-bending during Sizing Press
Based on the process conditions of the hot steel plant, the deformation of the head and end of the slab during Sizing Press (SP) is analyzed applying FEM and experimental method. For reducing the end-bending and improving the deformation stability of the slab during SP, a new two-step die is presented. The results show that, the head and end of the slab formed “fish tail” along length direction and “dog bone” along width direction after SP. The forming process of the head and end of the slab is different, and the flowing behavior of slab end is more complicated than of the slab head. Under the same initial process conditions, the two-step die reduces the end-bending as well as improves the deformation stability obviously.

Rolling Force Prediction of Steckel Mill Based on Elman Neural Network
In order to improve the steckel mill rolling force prediction accuracy, the rolling force predicted by traditional rolling force model which is associated with thermal simulation is an input of Elman neural network. At the same time, the predicted rolling force error between traditional math model and measured value is the output of neural network and then we begin to train the network. Through plenty of on-line data, this method which associate neural network with traditional math model greatly improves rolling force prediction. This neural network could be the reliable model parameter for steckel mill automation system control according to the rolling force.

Roll Crown Coordination Distribution Method to Medium Plate Rolling Schedule
Base on no hydraulic roller bending device on medium plate mill, Roll Wear Coordination Distribution Method is introduced so as to prevent strip shape problems by traditional equal load distribution. It analyses the influence to strip shape by roll crown, and real-time roll crown is obtained by soft sensor models of roll thermal crown and roll wear. Strip shape coefficient is adjusted in response to the change of roll crown in order to get more rational load distribution schedule and better effect of strip shape. From application results it shows that strip shape problems such as intermediate shape and side shape decrease obviously after this method starts, and it has a great application value.

Improvement of Rolling-cut Double Side Trimming Shear’s Shearing Quality in Heavy Plate Mill of Baosteel Co., Ltd.
Rolling-cut Double Side Trimming Shear is the main equipment on the shearing product line in Baosteel Heavy Plate Mill, bearing the task of trimming the heavy plate of less 50mm thick, but since the production was put into practice, there have been many problems about shearing quality. At present the “burr” and “missed cutting line” are the main shearing problems. Although some measures are taken, the results are not enough good. This situation would delay the schedule of orders, and would increase the cost of production. The reasons for the birth of “burr” and “missed cutting line” are analyzed, meanwhile, the shearing technical parameters are optimized according to the main affecting factors. Finally the effective approaches for the improvement of shearing quality are provided, and verified by the contrast experiment on product line, the results are good.

Study on Desulfurization and Denitrification of Adsorbent Modified by Microwave
The adsorbent was prepared in microwave process by using refinery cinder and fly ash as the raw materials. Simultaneous desulfurization and denitrification tests were carried out in setting mechanism, with the object of apparent activation enery of adsorbent before or after modified by microwave. The purification mechanism of adsorbents is being discussed. The results show that the activation energy of adsorbents after modified by microwave depressed markedly. Microwave modification could enhance the desulfurization and denitrification acivating of adsorbents.

A Experimental Research on Static Scale and Corrosion inhibition Using Low Frequency Electromagnetic Treatment of Reclaimed Water
According to scaling and corrosion problems during operation process of circulating cooling water, static water quality stabilization experiment was done on treatment reclaimed water with low frequency gradient electromagnetic field. After optimizing the electromagnetic operation parameters by orthogonal experiment, the scale inhibiting rate came to 21.46% and the corrosion inhibition came to 12.31% under disposable electromagnetic treatment. These two values could be improved to 35.30% and 17.50% respectively, after multiple circulating electromagnetic treatments for 2.0h. It was found by SEM(Scanning Electronic Microscope) and XRD(X-Ray Diffraction) analyses that electromagnetic treatment could inhibit crystal growth and change crystalline structure of CaCO3, promote formatting of compact γ-Fe2O3 oxide film on iron surface, which works on reacting against corrosion.

Analysis for the Effects of Technological Parameters of Traveling Magnetic Field on Circulation Flow Rate in RH Degasser
A mathematical model about the gas-liquid multiphase flow on the condition of the alternating electromagnetic field was developed to investigate the effect of different exciting current parameters on the recirculation flow rate in RH degasser. The numerical results indicate that the vertical electromagnetic force has the same the direction as the traveling magnetic field, while the level electromagnetic force is centrosymmetric. On the condition of 200A of exciting current density and 10Hz of current frequency, the recirculation flow rate is up more than 10 percent by imposing the traveling magnetic field on the up snorkel, while the recirculation flow rate is up about 20 percent by imposing the traveling magnetic field on the up snorkel and the down snorkel. The recirculation flow rate in the case of the traveling magnetic field near the up snorkel is greater than that in the case of the traveling magnetic field near the down snorkel when the gas flow rate is less than 1750NL/min. But such a difference disappears when the gas flow rate is greater than 1750NL/min. If the exciting current frequency is 10Hz and the magnetic field is imposed on the up snorkel, the recirculation flow rate increases from 83t/min to 129t/min linearly when the current density increases from 100A to 600A. If the exciting current density is 200A and the magnetic field is imposed on the up snorkel, the recirculation flow rate increases firstly and then decreases when the current frequency increases from 10Hz to 60Hz and there is a maximum value of 91.4t/min when the current frequency is 30Hz.

Experimental Study on Transient Friction Behavior between Mould and Strand in Slab Continuous Casting
It plays a key role for achieving the high speed casting to control the lubrication and friction status between mould and strand shell rationally. As an important parameter used to characterize lubrication effect, friction force has been widely obtained attention. Based on a slab caster which is equipped by hydraulic oscillators, the transient friction force between mould and strand shell was measured and analyzed. The characteristics of the transient friction force and the correlative parameters were studied, and the comparison of the friction force in sinusoidal and non-sinusoidal oscillation mode was analyzed. Also the variations of the friction force during normal state and before breakout were discussed. This research provided the test foundations and technical supports for deeply investigating friction behavior between mould and strand shell, and optimizing the casting variables.

Analysis of Silicon Increase in Molten Steel during LF Refining Process for SPHC
The control of silicon is a big difficult point of composition control for SPHC steel in CSP process. Based on the production data from a certain domestic factory, the thermodynamical software Factsage was used to analyze the influence of [Al]s on silicon content in molten steel during LF refining process which was the most serious process for silicon increase. The results showed that the reaction between steel melt and top slag was far from the equilibrium, and the tendency for silicon increase was always strong in the whole process and showed that it was the major reason for serious increment of silicon content during LF refining process that the amount of aluminum addition for deoxidation was excessive, meanwhile, the high oxidizability of top slag also increase the consumption of [Al]s in molten steel.

Investigation on Preparation of Pellets for Blast Furnace from Tin, Zinc-bearing Iron Concentrates by Grate-kiln Process
The preparation of pellets for blast furnace from the complex iron ores containing tin and zinc (0.25%Sn, 0.20%Zn) were investigated in this paper. Based on the analysis of volatilization behavior of tin and zinc compound in the process of preheating and reduction roasting, the effects of preheating and roasting conditions on the removal of tin, zinc and strength of preheated and roasted pellets were investigated. The thermodynamic analysis indicated that the removal of tin and zinc occurs mainly in the weak reduction roasting stage. The experimental results under the optimal experimental conditions indicated that preheated pellets with compressive strength of 495 N/P and AC tumble index of 3.85%, roasted pellets with compressive strength of 2254N/P and ISO tumble index of 96.16% could be obtained; the volatilization of tin, zinc is 70.8% and 61.0%; the content of tin, zinc is decreased to 0.073%, 0.078% respectively. The finished pellets have good metallurgical performance, which meet the needs of blast furnace.

Research on change of alkali metal of coke at BF hearth radial direction and the affection of coke performance
The coke of whole hearth radius BF is got by sampling machine of tuyere coke. The change of alkali metal content of coke in the different position of radial hearth and different particle size are analyzed. The conclusions are that the alkali metal content is higher as coke particle size from small to large in the same position of radial hearth and also as position from BF wall to center in the same tuyere coke particle size. The alkali content of hearth coke and coke charge through optical organization method are analyzed as well. The conclusions are that the resisting coke solution and loss capacity of isotropy coke charge is higher than anisotropy and the isotropy tuyere coke ratio of QIANAN NO.1 BF has no relation with alkali metal content.

Investigation of Injecting Properties into BF of Huang-ling Slightly-caking Coal
The slightly-caking coal produced by the Huangling Mining Corporation in Shanxi is largely sold as steam coal at the present, which not only adversely affects the economic efficiency of the enterprise, but also is a waste of the resource. Systematic investigation was carried out for the physico-chemical properties of Huangling slightly-caking coal and the feasibility of its injection into the blast furnace was explored. The results demonstrated that Huangling slightly-caking coal has a number of advantages and therefore fully meets the basic requirements of coals used for blast furnace injection. Its drawbacks such as lower igniting points, relatively strong explosivity, having certain extent of caking ability and poorer grindability can be dissolved by means of mixing it with anthracite and lean coals. Upon the ranks of coal to be mixed with, the blending ratios of Huangling slightly-caking coal should not exceed 30 to 50%.

Influence of Coal Modifying Additive Added into Coal Blend on Coke Quality
The coking test of blending non-coking coal was conducted on 40 kg coking-oven in NISCO. The influence of coal modifying additive added into coal blend on blend coal and coke quality is studied. The blending and coking test is carried out with different quantity of coal modifying additive added into coal blend. The experimental results showed the optimal proposal of coal blending:non-coking coal added up to 15%(its size under 3mm) and zzz added to 0.10%。 In optimum coal blending proposal, the coke quality produced from coal blend with additive comparing with the coke quality produced from coal blend without any additive. Coke ash is increased by 0.28%, sulfur essentially unchanged, the crushing strength is increased by 14.35%, and the Wear-resistant strength is reduced by 6.0%, the reactivity is reduced by 5.5%, the strength after reaction is increased by 5.93%. The experimental results show that metallurgical coke cold strength and thermal index are similar to the coke quality produced from coal blend in producing of NISCO.
