Abstract: Copper / aluminum friction welding is widely used in the production of terminal blocks in the power industry. The welding quality directly affects the safe operation of the power system. The feasibility of using ultrasonic microscope technology in the quality control of copper / aluminum friction welding through theoretical analysis and experimental methods was discussed. At the same time, the experiments of ultrasonic microscope detection were also conducted. It was found that the ultrasonic microscope technology had the advantages of high sensitivity, good resolution, and intuitive test results during its application in the detection of copper / aluminum friction welding.
