Abstract:The hot ductility of low alloy steel continuous cast slab was measured on Gleeble1500 tensile test machine. It was found that the low ductility temperature regionⅠof low alloy steel was between ts and 1340 ℃ and the low ductility region Ⅲ was between 920730 ℃. As the steel contained some Cu, As and Sn, the low ductility region Ⅲ was very wide and deep.
