Study for Influence of Sintering Materials on Fule Combustion
In this paper, the single burning experiments of fuel through changing size and the combustion temperature using TGA have been conducted, in addition, the influence of flux and iron ore aiming at Shigang sintering materials on coal combustion at 1200℃ has been also studyed in detail. The results indicate that there are certain enhancements on fuel combustion rate with the sintering temperature increasing and granularity of fuel decreasing, and both flux and iron ore have catalysis to the coal combustion, besides, there is obvious difference on catalysis mechanism between them.

Study on Improve Combustion of Solid Fuel in Deep Bed Sintering
The deep bed sintering is an important direction of sintering technology. As the depth of sinter bed increasing, there will be a series of changes in sintering behaviors, such as the self accumulation heat of the sinter bed is strengthened, widen the high-temperature region, the gas volume expansion increasing, permeability distinctly deteriorates,the mass content of O2 decrease, the combustion speed of coke breeze slower, the high-temperature region widen again, at the same time, the residual carbon and unprofitable combustion increase, the lower sinter of sinter bed ultra-fusion, which case the sinter yield index and quality index declines. To solve problems of deep bed sintering, new methods are proposed to improve the combustion of coke breeze. Available technical measures include that control coke breeze size distribution in 1.0 mm-3.15 mm, adopting “separate addition of fuel” or “separate addition of solid fuel and flux” as the method of improving solid fuel combustion, and study the permeability and the sinter technical index of each scheme, the conclusion is that improving the combustibility of solid fuels can be pepitious to deep bed sintering.

Engineering study on RHF directed reduction of vanadium-bearing titanomagnetite
Based on analysis of various equipments for directed reduction and combined with the results of RHF(Rotary Hearth Furnace ) lab & industry study of vanadium-bearing titanomagnetite, an unit of RHF is designed for directed reduction of vanadium-bearing titanomagnetite, the capability is 100kt per annual. The key engineering measures are analyzed, such as charging, discharge, combustion, etc., meanwhile some defects and improving ways are pointed out.

Abstract Since December 2008, TISCO 4350 m3 blast furnace availability ratio is 2.40 t/(m3.d)for continuous and hearth sectional area capacity factor is over 66.0 t/(m2.d)by intensifying crude fuel handling and cast house working as well as high oxygen enrichment high coal injection operation which can realize a reasonable gas current distribution.

Study of MnS Precipitation on the Ti-Al complex de-oxidation inclusions
The phenomenon that MnS inclusion precipitates on surface of Ti-Al de-oxidation complex inclusion has been studied systematically in lab by utilizing resistance furnace. The effect of Ti-Al complex inclusions on MnS precipitation amount and morphology has been investigated by varying the cooling rate and the content of S in steel. The experiments demonstrated that the cooling rate on the precipitation of MnS have a significant impact on. When the S content in liquid steel from 0.001% to 0.01%, under the conditions in the furnace cooling, MnS precipitation amount as the S content in liquid steel increases. However, in water-cooled conditions, MnS precipitation is not with the amount of liquid steel in an increase in S content of change. When the [S]>0.008% , all the surface of oxide inclusions are precipitated MnS inclusions; When 0.002% ≤ [S] <0.008%, the composite oxide inclusions in the MnO + SiO2 content of the higher, MnS more easily in the oxide above the precipitation. No obvious affect of Ti3O5 and Al2O3 has found on MnS precipitation on complex inclusions. When S <0.002%, the basic no precipitation of MnS inclusions. MnS in the low melting point oxides showed mosaic-like precipitation, the precipitation of high melting point on was shaped encapsulated.

Investigation of Inclusions Modality Controlling in Oil Casing Steel during LF Refining
The LF refining process of oil casing steel at some steel work was investigated. Analytical techniques such as metallographic examination、SEM、EDS were applied to distinguish the inclusions in steel.The thermodynamics of controlling oxidation inclusions were analyzed. The thermodynamic calculation result showed that when the dissolved aluminum [A1]s was about 0.025%,if the content of calcium more than 22×10-6,sulphur less than 0.008%,it can easily to modify Al2O3 into low melting point C12A7.

DEVELOPMENT OF Q345qD THICKER BRIDGE STEEL PLATE OF 130 mm IN NANYANG HANYE SPECIAL STEEL COMPANY
The paper explains how Nanyang Hanye Special Steel Co.Ltd. developed the specially thick Q345qD steel plates for beam structure with the thickness of 130mm by applying the process of 80t converter-ingot casting—3800mm rolling mill—heat treat. The alloy composition, smelting process, rolling process and heat treatment process were determined. The Q345qD steel plates for beam structure with the thickness of 130mm, which can guarantee second grade flaw detection and mechanical properties, were developed and produced in batch.

Model Development for On-line Predicting Final Carbon Content of 0Cr18Ni9 Stainless Steel
An on-line predicting model used to predicting final carbon oontent of 0Cr18Ni9 stainless steel has been developed based on artificial neural network technology. 58 heats were on-line predicted by this model, the result show that the hitting rate within a tolerance of ±0.015% carbon content can reach 89.66%.

Effect on Carbon Segregation by Solidification Parameters in Steel GCr15
The distribution rules of carbon segregation on casting billet were investigated to reduce carbon segregation and improve its properties of deep drawing in steel GCr15, adopting the ways the section of casting billet was drilled and dendritic microstructure was showed. And the effect on carbon segregation index by casting parameters was studied through the regressive analysis of the data in producing process. The study indicates that the average degree of carbon distribution can be improved, when increasing secondary cooling intensity, and diagonal carbon distribution is more average than vertical and horizontal’s in section of GCr15 steel billet; The dendritic distance becomes more and more obvious from exterior to center in casting billet, and it’s especially serious in center, And it’s advantaged to weaken dendritic segregation that increasing secondary cooling intensity; Regressive analysis shows segregation index has maximal relationship with water ratio in secondary cooling, and has low relationship with superheat degree of steel.

Study on Evolution Law of Oxide Scale of Hot-Rolled High Strength Steel
The numerical simulation of oxide scale formation was carried out for hot rolled HY490.The results were in good agreement with the measured values, indicating that the simulation method is useful for adjusting rolling parameters to control scale formation during the finishing rolling process.The variation of oxide scale structures with hot rolling parameters was studied by hot rolling trials, which shows that adjusting rolling temperature, coiling temperature and the pass interval during finish rolling is effective in controlling the structure and thickness of oxide scale.The spallation resistance of oxide scale has been assessed by cold bending trial, which shows that the adhesion between oxide scale and substrate is poor in processing one, with oxide flakes having been spalled off in the bended areas.While the adhesion is good in processing two, with only small amount of oxide powdery having been spalled off during bending.

Numerical Simulation of Thermal Evolution of Hot Rolled Strip during Run-out Table Cooling and Prediction and Analysis of Coiling Temperature
An integrated process modeling system was built for hot strip rolling, in which thermal, mechanical and metallurgical processes from reheating furnace to coiling of a steel strip had been numerically and successfully coupled together, enabling to predict and analyze microstructure and property evolution during hot rolling. With the help of the powerful tool, the cooling and coiling processes during hot strip rolling at 2050 HSM of Baosteel Co., Ltd. were investigated. The heat transfer coefficient model was established and modified, the contribution of phase transformation latent heat to strip temperature was calculated, and the effect of process parameters (cooling patterns, velocity and thickness) on the coiling temperature was simulated. Results showed that Standard Deviation between measured temperature and predicted temperature is less than 14℃, the contribution of phase transformation latent heat to strip temperature is 28℃, cooling patterns, velocity and thickness are very important factors affecting coiling temperature, The simulation can help steel makers to better understand their processing.

The Application of Fuzzy Immune PID controller based on Gray prediction in gauge control system
Considering the disadvantages of nonlinearity、large time-delay and time-varying of gauge control system of cold-continuous rolling sheet, a strategy of Fuzzy-Immune-PID control based on Gray prediction is proposed. The strategy is based on the immune feedback principle in the biological immune system and the approaching ability for nonlinear function of fuzzy control to design a fuzzy-immune-PID controller. Then put the gray prediction into on-line use and replaces the measured value of the controlled object by the prediction results to control the system. The strategy has characteristics of low overshoot, short regulating time, strong anti-disturbance ability and great robustness. Simulation results indicate that the method has well control performance compared with conventional control method.

Effect of Quenching-Isothermal-Tempering on Microstructure of Spring Steel 60Si2CrVA
The effect of quenching-isothermal-tempering(Q-I-T)on microstructure of 60Si2CrVA spring steel was studied in this paper. The volume fraction of retained austenite (AR) was measured by XRD and the microstructures of all samples were analysed by metallurgical microscopy and TEM. The results show that the retained austenite is film-like distribution between the laths and packets of the martensite and bainite after Q-I heat treatment,the microstructure is fine-acicular or lath martensite (M) +transitional lath bainite (B) + retained film austenite(AR) and its volume fraction of the respective microstructure is: 50~60%martensite+30~40%bainite+less than 10%retained austenite after tempering, the width of bainite lath is 100~500nm and the sub-unit size is 50~250nm. Compared with conventional heat treatment, the structure is refined and the duplex microstructure is obtained in 60Si2CrVA spring steel by the new heat treatment, it is useful to improve the strength, plasticity and toughness of the spring steel.

8Cr4MoV Low Alloyed Forged Super-Deep Hardening Layer Cold Work Roll Trial-Manufacture and Application
8Cr4MoV low alloyed forged super-deep hardening layer cold work roll steels were studied in laboratory containing about 4%Cr, 0.8%C, and appending a little of N and Re in it individually or together. After smelt in 50 kg vacuum induction furnace primarily, then forged, quenched and tempered in turn, the steels′ mechanics performances, microstructures and hardenability by end quenching test were compared each other, the better was put into trial-manufacture of super-deep hardening layer cold work rolls of 1700㎜body length for 4 H tandem cold mill in Cold Strip Mills WISCO. With quenched by 50/250Hz induction hardening machine, the rolls had uniform hardness on the body surface, and proved their resistance to wear higher, having longer service life over 1.6 times of Cr2 conventional cold work roll, deeper hardening layer depth corresponding to Cr5 super-deep hardening layer cold work roll, and no spalling, better resistance to accident.

Study on Section Homogeneity of V-N Microalloyed High Strength Bulb Flat Steel
In this paper the effect of V-N microalloying on section homogeneity of mechanical properties of bulb flat steel is studied by analyzing the mechanical properties, microstructures and precipitated phases at different section positions which always different at mechanical performance. The results show that V-N microalloying helps to improve section homogeneity of mechanical property for bulb flat steel, especially for strength enhancement in center of bulb. The above phenomena are closely associated with different precipitation behavior in different section positions of bulb flat steel. The V(C,N) precipitated at the center of bulb produce better strengthening effect than that at other sites and this strengthening effect can compensate mechanical properties besides difference of microstructure, therefore decreasing the different mechanical performance in the section of bulb flat steel.

The Effect of Ce on mechanical properties of 1Cr18Mn8Ni5N Stainless Steel
Effects of rare earth Ce on the hardness,strength, ductility and impact toughness of 1Cr18Mn8Ni5N stainless steel is studied. The mechanical properties of 1Cr18Mn8Ni5N stainless steel with five different contents of Ce are compared with those of the 1Cr18Mn8Ni5N stainless steel without Ce addition under the same heat treatment process. The results show that the hardness,strength, ductility and impact toughness of 1Cr18Mn8Ni5N stainless steel are obviously improved when added a proper content of RE Ce element. The 1Cr18Mn8Ni5N stainless steel with RE Ce element of 0.016 % in mass fraction has the best mechanical properties.

A Study on Reheat Embitterment in CGHAZ of Q690CFD
This article discussed the influence of postweld heat treatment regime to the impact ductility of Q690CFD coarse grain zone, and the postweld heat treatment regime of Shougang’s Q690CFD was optimized. The research results indicated that the point of 500℃ was brittle ductile transition temperature and the carbide precipitation at original austenite grain boundary resulted in the brittle ductile transition. The carbide precipitation regularity was computed by Thermo-calc and computation results commendably accorded with the test results.

Experimental on the Treatment of Silicon Steel Passivation Wastewater with FeSO4/H2O2
To improve the low efficiency in Silicon Steel wastewater treatment, FeSO4/H2O2 was used to treat this water. The method utilized the reducibility of Fe(Ⅱ) to reduce Cr(Ⅵ) to Cr(Ⅲ), and reduce the CODCr value with the catalysis-oxidation properties of Fenton reagent which generated by the reaction between Fe(Ⅱ) and H2O2 in the acid solution. The best parameter was: n(Fe2+):n(H2O2)=1∶2, Fe2+ dosage 0.1mol/g Cr6+, pH value 3-4, temperature 15-35℃. When CODCr of influent was 1351mg/L, Cr(Ⅵ) concentration was 2959mg/L, the effluent concentration of CODCr and Cr(Ⅵ) was 25.6mg/L and 0.421mg/L respectively, both of them could be controlled below the Chinese discharge standard of GB 13456-92, the removal rate of Cr(Ⅵ) and CODCr was 99.99% and 98.11%.

The effect of the Soak section time and Annealing temperature during continuous annealing process of 45 steel on spheroidizing of pearlite after Recrystallization has been studied. multi-functional continuous annealing simulator was used to simulate Annealing experiments of different sheet speed and annealing temperature. The result showed that in the condition of lab, a good effect of speroidizing can be obtained when the Soak section time is 170s or 250s and annealing temperature is 820℃.
