Numerical simulation of hot blast stove combustion characteristics on the effect of preheated temperature
Improving the blast temperature is still a major energy-saving technical measure in ironmaking procedure. In this paper, using the software of CFX, the combustion states were simulated numerically by adjusting the temperature of preheated combustion air. The results showed that with the temperature of preheated combustion air increasing , the combustion chamber acquired more uniform velocity field, shorter flame, and downward expansion of high-temperature zone, but no effect on combustion efficiency, which provided theoretical basis to the practicing operation for 1280℃ blast temperature.

High Temperature plasticity of 27SiMn Steel Billet
The hot ductility of 27SiMn was measured by tensile tests on gleeble 3800. The relation between microstructure and plasticity was analysed. Brittleness reason of the steel in testing region was investigated.The test results indicate that the brittle zone is 600~850℃from550~1200℃,the percentage reduction of this area ψ=23.0%~50.0% .The results will provide theory data for the production of 27SiMn steel billet.

The texture characteristics austenitic areas hot-rolled IF steel
By means of the X-ray orientation distribution function (ODF) the texture characteristics of the low carbon steel sheet hot-rolled in austenitic zone along the plate width and thickness direction were studied. The results showed that: the main textures in the surface, 1/4 layer and 1/2 layer of austenitic zone hot-rolled low carbon steel sheet are {110}<111> and {001}<110> texture. The textures intensity in edge of austenitic zone hot-rolled low carbon steel sheet increase clearly, because the cooling speed of the hot-rolled steel sheet at the edge is fast. The surface texture of the hot-rolled low carbon steel sheet does not change strongly along the plate width, mainly because of the smaller deformation level and the complexity of deformation and the larger temperature change. The average texture intensity in the head of austenitic zone hot-rolled low carbon steel sheet is weaker, while the average texture intensity in the tail of austenitic hot-rolled low carbon steel sheet is higher, the reason is that the relativity temperature in the tail of the austenitic hot-rolled low carbon steel sheet is lower than in the head of the austenitic zone hot-rolled low carbon steel sheet.

Effect of Heat Treatment process on Microstructure and Hardness of 1Cr4Ni3CuAlSi Steel
In this paper the effect of different quenching and tempering temperature on microstructure and hardness of a new type aging hardening plastic die steel 1Cr4Ni3CuAlSi is studied.The experimental results show that it is reasonable that the steel were quenched at 850℃-890℃.The hardness of the steel can be improved remarkly when tempering at 510℃-550℃ because NiAl phase can be precipitated after tempering aging tereatment.

The effect of the different cutting method to the quality of cut surface of Q345 steel plate
SEM and metallographic microscope have been used to analyse the three kinds of cut surface of Q345 steel plate, which are cutting separately by flame cutting, mechanical cutting and air plasma cutting. The result show that, the crack on the cutting hyperplane has no directed connection with the central segregation on the Q345 steel plate,but the central segregation can extended the crack.

Research on quality of rail steel about U71Mn Used by High Speed Train Affected by Nitrogen Content
Abstract:In this paper,higer nitrogen content in rail steel about U71Mn used by high speed train aimed,quality of rail steel affected by nitrogen,distribution of nitrogen in each working site and factors resticting nitrogen content in steel are studied.Result shows that fracture toughness of rail steel is decreasing while nitrogen content in steel increasing.Nitrogen content in steel is effectively controlled by adding-carbon agent changed from asphalt coke to anthracite.

Transmission Electron Microscopic Study of Vacanc in Copper of Erosion-Corrosion
The sample of copper of Erosion—Corrosion was thinned by argon ions.Its microstructures were observed by Transmission Electron microscopic.The results show that there are a lot of disloctions and vacanc trays. Cu2O is coherent with matrix,In high magnefication, a lot of moire patterns are exist in the sample. The aberration lattice constant was calculated by select area electron diffraction spots.

Single Crystal and Polycrystalline Bulk Hardness of Rhenium Diboride
We synthesize pure-phase bulk ReB2 using the method of high temperature and high pressure, study the effect of different loads on the measured hardness of ReB2 single crystal and polycrystalline bulk. Nano-indenter tester measures the asymptotic hardness value (32.2 GPa ± 1 GPa) of ReB2 single crystal; micro-hardness tester measures the asymptotic hardness value (17.1 ± 0.5 GPa) of polycrystalline bulk ReB2. These show that ReB2 is only a hard material, not a superhard material. In addition, according to the intrinsic relationship between Raman vibrational modes and hardness, we also assess the ReB2 single crystal hardness, and the calculated value is consistent with the experimental data.

Fatigue Fracture Analysis of Railway Turnout
Sidetrack rail after rail made by flash butt welding test in the early stage of fatigue fracture, cracking site in flash butt welding heat-affected area, and the feet in orbit. To identify the reason for using optical, scanning electron microscopy and energy dispersive spectroscopy analysis of the causes of the cracking was found abnormalities, and the sources of gray leaf spot occurred in the area, resulting in early fracture.

FRACTURE ANALYSIS OF THROUGH BOLT FOR GENERATOR STATOR CORE
Cracking occurred on through bolt for generator stator core in working condition. In order to find out the reason of the cracking, the dissection analysis have carried out. Micrograph of crack initiation sites was intercrystalline rupture. Metallographic examination shows that there is alloy carbide and alloy compounds on the austenitic grain-boundary. These brittle educt avianize the austenitic grain boundary. On an effect of periodicily stress. cracking occurred.

Cracking Analysis of Boiler Tube
The cracked 20# boiler tube had been analyzed in this paper. The result showed that the local area of the boiler tube was over-heated and this caused the grain grown and the tube cracking which was due to the rapidly rising temperature and the pressure that occurred since the flow in the boiler tube was held up.

Q345B hot-strip cold bending fracture with reasons and solutions
Through the comparative analysis with the cold bending fracture Q345B hot-strip sample and eligible sample of mechanical properties and microstructure, microscopic inclusions corresponding casting slab sample data and the chemical composition and macro-examination inspection data, using scanning electron microscope (SEM) and energy spectrum analysis on fracture analysis, obtaining continuous casting slab cross section 1/4-1/5 position among the steel belt is the main reason of the cold bending fracture, and put forward by optimizing the continuous casting process, increase effective control measures such as electromagnetic stirring among slab of crack formation, thus solving Q345B cold bending fracture problems with hot-strip method, has achieved remarkable results.

Fracture Failure Analysis of TiC Ceramic Cutter
The fracture failure of a TiC ceramic cutter was studied from two views of optical microstructure and fracture analysis. It is revealed that there was serious unsintered defect on the cutter, which acts as the fracture origin. The improper heat treatment leaded to the coarse grain for the 3Cr13 substrate. The brittle carbide distributed along the grain boundaries resulted in great brittleness for the matrix. Therefore, the fracture occurred very often during the service.

82MnA high-carbon steel rod Drawing Fracture Analysis
Abstract: φ12.5mm 82MnA high carbon steel of hot-rolled rod occurred Fracture when drawing , in order to find the reason why the rod fractured, we analyzed and tested the surface defects, microstructure, non-metallic inclusions by using stereo microscope, optical microscope, scanning electron microscope and X-ray energy dispersive spectrometer. The results showed that: 82MnA steel purity is not enough, wire rod’s surface defects, Heart Division Segregation, Heart Organization abnormal and DS Inclusion which led to φ12.5mm 82MnA high carbon steel rod breakage in the drawing process.
