Status of Exhaust Pollutantion Reduction in Sinter Process
The mainly origin of the sulphur oxide, nitrogen oxide and dioxin(POPs) is sinter process. It is very difficult to separate the pollutantion for the large quantity of exhaust, the fluctuant range of flux and low density of pollutant. The desulfurization is just started in our country and the technique hasn't passed with efficient, steady and economical operation. As the environmental protection standard is more and more strict in our country, nitrogen oxide and dioxin will be controlld, too. Sintering gas desulfurization is emphasized in iron and steel industry. SO2 emission reduction is serious. The sulfure flow is analyzed in this paper. The process principles, advantage and disadvantage of some typical sintering gas desulphurization technologies, such as limestone/lime-plaster, ammonia-ammonium sulfate, seawater, magnesia, CFB, dense flow absorber, MEROS, NID, active carbon and so on is described. The sinter process desulphurization technologies of steel plant both in China and abroad are listed. The development trend of sintering gas desulfurization is put forward that the technique of separate the sulphur oxide, nitrogen oxide and dioxin would be researched and the by-product efficiently used would be encouraged at the same time.

Influencing Factors on High Temperature Properties of Iron Ore in Shougang
The high temperature properties of iron ore, such as assimilation, liquid phase fluidity, can reflect behaviours at high temperature during sintering, compared with the normal temperature properties of iron ore, so the high temperature properties of iron ore are significant for optimizing ore sintering matching. In this paper, high temperature properties of ores used in Shougang since 2000 were measured, compared and analysed, with results showing that combined water of ore promotes the assimilation of ore, and ore with high SiO2 content has high liquid phase fluidity under the same bascity, on the condition that CaO addition is no more than CaO amount according to eutectic temperature in CaO-Fe2O3.

The research on meager lean coal coking compatibility with different coking coal
The meager lean coal, after fine crushing, coked compatibility with gas-fat coal, fat coal, 1 / 3 coke coal and coking coal by weight ratio of 1:1. The results showed, to ensure quality of coke, if the mixture ratio of meager lean coal was improved, the blending coal must have amount of fat coal and gas-fat coal and moderate to restrict the amount of coking coal and 1/3 coking coal; In the coking process, the expansion and mobility of 1 / 3 coking coal is far less than the gas-fat coal and fat coal, so when it coked with the meager lean coal, the result was different from the conventional coking mechanism.

Effect of Refining Slag Basicity on Inclusion in 304 Stainless Steel
Combining industrial practice, the effect of refining slag basicity on inclusion in Si-killed 304 austenitic stainless steel during LF refining and continuous casting process was researched with quantitative metallography and SEM+EDS statistical analytical methods. The results show that the spherical CaO-Al2O3-SiO2 compound inclusion is mainly formed in molten steel, and properly higher basicity is beneficial to smaller inclusions formation. With refining slag basicity increasing, the CaO content in compound inclusion increases gradually together with SiO2 content reducing, and the variation of Al2O3 content is slight. In industrial process, the containing Al in FeSi alloy is a mainly factor for Al2O3 inclusion formation. When the refining slag basicity is controlled at 1.0 and 1.5 respectively, the Al2O3 content is about 25% in casting billet, and the deformability of inclusion is feeblish accordingly.

Study on Energy Optimizing in Electric Arc Furnace Steel-making Process
In order to balance between the power supply and the theoretical demand value in electric arc furnace steelmaking process, the optimal energy model was established. Based on the policy making order that was “first oxygen, second electricity”, it could achieve energy optimal distribution about oxygen and power supply. The industry experiment had been made in the 150t EAF steelmaking process in Tianjin Pipe Group. The results were compared and analyzed with original operating condition and simulation, which indicated that good production efficiency had been made. The tapping to tapping time was 49.5min, the tapping quantity 141.2t, the smelting electricity consumption 314.3kWh/t and the oxygen consumption 41.0m3/t on average. The oxygen utilization rate reached 87.7% and the recovery of metal 88.5%.

RH-KTB optimizing process in production of IF-steel
The paper briefly introduced the deep-decarbonization principle of RH-KTB based on the practice of product IF-steel in Meishan steel,through ameliorating kinetic conditions to optimize RH-KTB treatment process.By Means of setting 15KPa vacuum degree as the best time to start KTB process,improving vacuum degree of RH and improving circular flow , we could control the RH end-point carbon content of IF steel from 18×10-6 to less than 15×10-6conditions and optimizing RH-KTB treatment process of ultra low carbon steel. The domestic advanced level of controlling carbon content of ultra low carbon steel was reached.

Flux Charge Model of Steelmaking in BOF Using Half-Steel
Slagging is the main task in converter steelmaking, the essence of converter steelmaking is to control the slag, and especially determine the amount of added slag material. According to the characteristics of low [c]、[Si] in the semi-steel making, based on the analysis of existing flux charge model ,combined with the practical experience, cascade model, which is composed of three BP neural network –lime, high-magnesium lime and composite flux , is builded to compute the amount of added slag material. By comparing the off-line of other methods, the superiority of the builded model is testified.

Study on the Deviation Angle of Tension Roll for Hot Strip Down Coilers
Down coiler is one of the key equipment for hot strip mill, the deviation angle of tension roll is of great importance to biting into coiler successfully. This paper establishes relationship between deviation angle and bending curvature radius. According to requirement of bite smooth of the strip, the theoretic and actual deviation angles are determined, and it is provided the theoretical basis for design and application of the coiler.

Control of R2 grade TMBP Surface Roughness in Two-Stand Temper Mill Rolling
Relying on the product development tasks of R2 grade TMBP (tin mill black plate) in a CAPL line, through whole sampling of strip in trial production and off-line measurement of three-dimensional topography on surface, the genetic and change laws of surface roughness in two-stand temper mill rolling were revealed by ways of industrial test methods. The prediction model of genetic and change laws were established by the use of stepwise regression method based on a large number of measured data. According to the variation of strip surface roughness obtained from the experiment and the prediction model, the process strategy, set models and process parameters of roughness control were set up, furthermore a set of roughness control technology of R2 grade TMBP were obtained. Applied the technology to actual production, the R2 grade TMBP was successfully developed at the first time in China. The roughness control accuracy of R grade TMBP was significantly increased, the pass rate which meet the roughness accuracy window [0.37µm,0.47µm] come to 65.33%, color difference after roll spreading was effectively removed, enormous economic and social benefits were created.

Study of Rolled Plate Surface Edge Crack on Microalloy Steel
Linearity crack sometimes appears on microalloy steel plate surface about 100mm from edge in “ingot casting + bloom rolling”,which is regularly deep or shallow,and conduces so much waste product that affects normal production.These have been thought of rolling fault,but this text judges them coming from steel ingot surface microcrack based on macro-scopical shape and micro-structure research. Microalloy steel plate will craze at the most pull-stress position,which provides theoretical foundation for product quality improvement.These fault has greatly reduced after we adopt effective technique measure.

Study on high strength and resisting corrosion steel bar containing Re
Two brands of high strength resisting corrosion steel bar containing Re, 20MnSiNbRe、20MnSiVNRe, wered studied in this paper. Their normal mechanical properties and microstructure were introduced. Salt spray accelerated corrosion test,alternate immersion test in laboratory, and metallic samples in seawater were emphasesed. The effects of Re on improving resisting corrosion of steel were discussed. Results showed that high strength resisting corrosion steel bar containing Re could accord with mechanical properties of HRB400 in GB 1499.2-2007

Strengthening Effect of ZrC Particles on Low-carbon Microalloy Steel
In vacuum conditions, micron-grade ZrC particles were added into a low-carbon microalloy steel as deformation center and recrystallization center of austenite and deformation-induced ferrite during hot-rolling to refine grains. A low-carbon microalloy high strength steel of yield strength 518 MPa was obtained in the laboratory. Composition,quantity and particle size distribution of the precipitated phase in the test steel were studied by chemical phase analysis and small-angle X-ray scattering method; morphology of the second phase particles and microstructure of the steel were also examined by SEM and TEM. It was found that there was less content of MC precipitated phase with size less than 18nm and there was no MC precipitated phase with size less than 10nm. The strengthening effect of the second phase particles including carbide precipitated phase and the added ZrC particles on the steel was discussed. Refinement strengthening is the primary strengthening mode. Dislocation strengthening is the second, precipitation strengthening and solution strengthening are less. The added ZrC particles play an important role in the course of refinement strengthening and dislocation strengthening.

Abstract:The paper studies that both the high-purity of GCr15 Bearing Steel tissue preparation and annealing process have an effect on carbide spheroidizing quality. it can get spherodization by carbide metallographic morphology,number,size,distribution and the roundness characteristics of the carbide quality. Using annealing schedule c of this paper, the GCr15 Bearing Steel roundness of 0.087, with an average particle size of 0.27μm, the spherodization of time shorter than the traditional process 3.5 hours

Effect of superheat degree on solidification structure of 60Si2MnA spring steel billet
Physical simulation about the crystal growth of the continuous casting solidification unit was implemented to study the influence of superheat degree on solidification structure and carbon macro-segregation of 60Si2MnA spring steel. Compared with numerical simulation and actual solidification structure, the solidification structure of the experimental simulation has similar area ratio of equiaxed structure and grain size, the experimental results indicate that experimental simulation solidification structure is in agreement with actual one. With the superheat increase, the columnar length increase and equiaxed length decrease. In addition, the 60Si2MnA spring steel presents carbon negative segregation at the initial solidification zone and positive segregation at the end solidification zone in the process of solidification, and carbon positive segregation is found to be more severe with superheat degree increasing.

Investigation on Kinetics of Austenite grain growth of 38CrMoAl steel
Abstract: Austenite grain growth of nitriding steel 38CrMoAl with two cleanliness levels has been investigated by metallographic technique. The heat treatments were performed in the austenitizing temperature of 940℃ and 1000℃ for holding times in the range of 15-600 min. With the increase of austenitizing temperature and holding time, the austenite grains have a clear trend of growth. The specimens with the highest cleanliness show a most evident growth trend due to the weak pinning effect of a smaller precipitates on the austenite grain growth.At last we have generalized the equation of Kinetics.

The Influence of the Ti Content on the Impact Toughness of Maraging Stainless Steel 00Cr13Co9Ni5Mo5
The influence of the Ti content on mechanical properties, microstructure and austenite content of maraging stainless steel 00Cr13Co9Ni5Mo5 has been studied upon three different steels. The results show that the effective content of C and N in martix can be reduced obviously by adding more Ti, which may significantly decrease the residual/reverted austenite content after solution and aging treatment, and the ductile-brittle transition temperature may be raised obviously which can improve the strength and reduce the toughness.

Research and Application of Baosteel Sintering Flue Gas Desulphurization Technology
Research background and technical features of BSFGD (Swirl-Jet- Absorbing Wet Limestone-gypsum Sintering FGD Technology) process and equipments are introduced in detail. Main contents, achievements of pilot experiments, and engineering practices of BSFGD are analyzed and discussed systematically. Past engineering practice experiences indicate that BSFGD has the following merits, wide applicability to sintering flue gas features (such as temperature changing frequently, SO2 concentration being unstable, flow rate fluctuating intensively, etc.,) high pollutants removal efficiency, low investment and energy consumption; stable and reliable running, utilizable byproduct (gypsum), etc.. It has been proved that BSFGD has extensive application value to the flue gas desulphurization for large and medium-scale sintering machines.

Research and Application of Quenching Automation Controlling System of Plate Roller Quenching Machine
The quenching automation control system of roller quenching machine with domestic independent intellectual property rights are introduced, which is composed of basic automation subsystem and process automation subsystem. The basic automation subsystem is used for sequence control, logic control and device control. The process automation subsystem is used for calculation and setting of quenching technological parameter model. The results of application show that the control system has high precision and good stability, the plates shape and performance after quenching attain or exceed the technology level of imported roller quenching machine, satisfies product development requirement of domestic plate plants.
