Effect of Magnesia addition on Sinter Reducibility
In this paper, the influence of MgO on sinter reducibility has been studied and analyzed through determining the reduction rate of sinter at different temperature and chemical composition via thermogravimetric analysis combining microstrcture of sinter. The study has shown that MgO has different rules on sinter reducibility at 850℃ and 1220℃, i.e.,it promotes reducibility of sinter at 850℃ and restrains sinter reduction at 1220℃. At the meanwhile, the effects of SiO2 and basicity on reducibility are effected by MgO, i.e., enhancement of basicity is inclined to reducibility, and the enhancing SiO2 content has adeverse effect on sinter reducibility, but both of which are weakend with the addition of MgO and Al2O3. Keywords: calcium ferrite MgO reducibility

Study on factors of Influencing on coke thermal property
In present work, 13 experimental coal blends with similar caking property were tested by 70kg small coke oven test. Compared with the relationship between coke thermal property and mineral catalysis index, coal maceral and coke optical texture ,it was found that coke thermal property depends mainly on mineral catalysis index (MCI)in the ash when the coal blends have similar caking property; the content of coal macerals has an impact on coke thermal property; the influence of optical anisotropy index(OTI) and optical texture value as well as coke reactivity(CRI) on coke post-reaction strength (CSR) can be observed. The conclusion has important practical significance to guide coal blending production, stabilize and improve coke thermal property.

Water Model Study on Inclusion Removal in Tundish with Argon Bubbling
The effects of inclusion removal in tundish with argon bubbling were investigated by choosing aniline simulated as inclusions and silicone oil as slag in a water model. And RTD curves had been measured by means of “irritating-response method”. The process and mechanics of inclusions removal were researched. The results show that in gas bubbling tundish, the ratio of inclusion removal may not be at maximum with the biggest proportion of piston volume. When gas purging at the injection flow area, the probability of bubble capturing inclusion may be increased and the collision between inclusions may be promoted. These all will accelerate the inclusions rising and being removed.

Effect of Different Technological Factors on Inclusion Removal in RH Degasser
The numerical method was employed to study the effect of technological factors on the inclusion removal in RH degasser. The numerical results indicated that for small inclusion, the number density can be decreased effectively by collision growth. For big inclusion, the number density can be decreased by Stokes floatation. The inserting depth of the snorkels, the vacuum chamber pressure and the gas flow rate are three key parameters of inclusion removal and the gas flow rate is the most important one. The inclusion removal rate is up 6 percent while the inserting depth of the snorkels decreases from 800mm to 300mm. The inclusion removal rate is up 12 percent while the vacuum chamber pressure decreases from 5.0kPa to 1.0kPa. The inclusion removal rate can reach 75 percent while the gas flow rate is up to 2000NL. Inclusions larger than 20μm can be removed after RH treatment if gas flow rate is up to 1275NL, but it can not promote the removal rate of inclusions greater than 10μm effectively if the gas flow rate is greater than 1750NL.

Experimental Study on Inclusion Removing Efficiency of CSP Tundish
Appropriate measures must be taken to strictly control inclusion content in the molten steel during the product process of electric steel because the inclusion in final steel product can remarkably influence on its properties especially for electric steel which has strictly requirements for the purity of molten steel. In this paper the authors investigate the category, content and granularity distribution of inclusion in continuous casting tundish when CSP was used to produce electric steel in Ma Steel. Then analyse and evaluate the inclusion removing capability of CC tundish. The results by test show that the CC tundish after rebuilding and optimization can almost remove inclusion larger than 40m in liquid steel, and provide assembling and growing kinetic condition for inclusion less than 30m. The tundish has powerful capability of inclusion removing, which guarantees that high-quality electric steel can be produced.

Plate Transient Temperature Field Precise Calculation in the Finish Rolling Process of Hot Tandem Rolling
Based on the different fashions of the cooling, the finish rolling area is divided into two parts, the rolling area and the no-rolling area, and with the finite difference method, the precise plate temperature field model is established. For analysis and calculation, the rolling area is mapped into the rectangle, and then the precise boundary conditions are built to calculate three dimensional temperature field of plate. In the no-rolling area, main factors are taken into account, such as the descaling, the water cooling and the air cooling and so on, to calculate two dimensional transient temperature of plate in the longitudinal direction. The results of the experiment and the simulation indicate that the model has higher computational accuracy, and accord with the actual engineering.

The Influence of Protective Atmosphere and Structural Properties on Steel Strip Cooling Characteristics in Continuous Annealing Furnace
The requirement to the high-quality cold-rolled sheet production process is very high. Therefore the easy controlled rapid stable cooling rate has become an important way to enhance the quality of steel robin. In present paper, the unsteady standard k-ε turbulence model was adopted to simulate the continuous annealing furnace steel cooling process, the simulation agrees the experimental results very well. The investigation found that the temperature uniformity and cooling rate are optimized when the hydrogen concentration is 30%; controlling cooling rate can be realized by controlling the initial temperature, bellows-strip spacing and jet rate of the cooling gas.

Condensate Corrosion Behavior of A New Style Ferritic Stainless Steel Used in Automotive Exhaust System
Cr plays a very important role in the corrosion resistance of ferritic stainless steels. The corrosion resistance of a series of ferritic stainless steels used in automotive exhaust system was evaluated by a condensate corrosion test. As a result, the condensate corrosion resistance of ferritic stainless steels contained more than 17% Cr was almost the same with the ones contained 17% Cr after ten periods of the condensate corrosion test. Moreover, the average corrosion lost weight was lower than 6g/m2 and the average maximum corrosion depth was less than 0.03mm for the two types of ferritic stainless steels. According to the test result, the new developed type 439M ferritic stainless steel and type 409L stainless steel were studied in the condensate corrosion test for 5 periods, 10 periods and 20 periods separately. The maximum pitting depths on the samples’ surface after various period corrosion tests were calculated by extreme value analysis to evaluate the maximum pitting depth of the whole muffler. The result indicates that the forecasted longevity of 439M ferritic stainless steel is 1.6 times of 409L stainless steel’s.
