Abstract��In order to improve the qualification ratio for ultrasonic testing quality of extra-thickness plate, the cleanliness of the liquid steel and quality of the slab are effectively improved by optimizing the LF refining slag series, the argon bubbling schedule of VD and LF furnace and the processing parameters of continuous casting. The results show that: after optimizing, w��P�ݣ�0.015%��w��S�ݣ�0.005%��w��O�ݣ�5��10-6��w��H�ݣ�1.5��10-6��w��N�ݣ�40��10-6. The C center segregation and C central porosity were 1.0 and 0.5 for slab and steel plate, respectively. The average qualification ratio of ultrasonic flaw detection was increased by 3.2%, and the highest qualification ratio of ultrasonic flaw detection went up to 99.5%.
