Abstract:A series of heat treatment experiments of this paper have been made on X12Cr13 stainless steels in QT condition, research on the effect of quenching temperature, tempering temperature and cooling method on the 0 ℃ impact energy. The result shows that carbide distribution and morphology are critical for mechanical properties of Q-T X12Cr13, and the optimized heat treatment parameters are: 930-940 ℃ for quenching temperature and 650-660 ℃ for tempering temperature, and rapid cooling is recommend after temper treatment.
